Respond to God’s Calling With Love

The calling of each of us merges, up to a certain point, with our very being: we might say that the calling and the person become the same thing. This means that in God's creative initiative there enters a particular act of love for those called, not only to salvation, but also to the ministry of salvation. Therefore throughout eternity, since we first began to exist in the plans of the Creator, he chose to call us as well, predisposing in us the gifts and the conditions for a conscious and personal response to the summons of Christ and of the Church. God who loves us, who is love, is also "he who calls." Therefore, in the face of a calling, let us worship the mystery, let us respond with love to the initiative of love, let us say yes to the summons.
